Teacher, writer, coach, leader. Marty has been helping people for over 30 years. An Air Force veteran, college teacher, author of six books, and a Chess Expert. His latest joy comes from teaching chess to homeschool children, giving flash classes on active listening, putting the final touches on a YA novel, and prepping Caissa’s Revenge for publication.

Marty struggles daily to balance his work, passions, and family life. At the best of times, the three converge. Marty is an Expert chess player, a sports enthusiast, public speaker, life coach, streamer (Tiberian64), and a perpetual student. He loves playing, competing, teaching, learning, and living.

Martin has six business non-fiction books in print, with his book, “Metrics: How to Improve Key Business Results” being his most critical success.

And now Martin has entered the fiction writing world. His latest work is a compilation of his six novellas, The Adventures of Sir Locke the Gnome. It is now available as an Audiobook, read by Bob Feifar. Writing Sir Locke the Gnome mysteries has become a great way for Martin to share his love of both Sherlock Holmes and Dungeons & Dragons. He wrote his first novel, The Time Warp King, with his daughter. It’s a YA novel set in two worlds and two times. Soon to be released on audio.

The Monster Next Door in the anthology of related horror stories (Aug 2023), Serial Killer in The Devil You Know Best (Mar 2024) and Comfort Food in The Fables Next Door (Jun 2024). His latest short, The Nostradamus Project is published by Three Cousins Publishing in their anthology, The Trouble with Time (Feb 2025).
